About Us
This collaborative initiative is led by a four-investigator team: Drs. Nolan, Self, Dawson and Boehme. The study is supported by a large team of staff personnel and student trainees.
Faculty Investigators
Dr. Melissa Nolan is an Assistant Professor in the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina. She also serves as the Director of the Laboratory of Vector-borne and Zoonotic Diseases.
Dr. Stella Self is an Assistant Professor in the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina.
Dr. Robin Dawson is an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing at the University of South Carolina.
Dr. Hunter Boehme is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at North Carolina Central University.
